I just finished the book "Climbing the End of Your Rope" and wanted to
let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I loved the fact that you dealt with real, hard issues and helped to
demonstrate how to minister to those in that situation as well as how to face
them if you find yourself there. I
...appreciate the fact you talked about same sex attraction, sex offenders, and
abortion. These are real, life issues
that the Body of Christ needs to respond to, rather than just cry, “Unclean”
and call sin, sin. We need to demonstrate that there is healing, forgiveness, redemption,
and ultimately restoration available in Christ. I also like the discussion guide included to equip counselors and
the church to use this in a small group support, and discussion setting. Thank
you.

This little book is less than 200 pages but it is packed with surprising insights into what it is like to deal with those who have entered into the winter of their lives. Joe takes us to a place where we will all be one day. How he ministers to those who have trusted him with their inner most secrets will make you th...ink about your own life, and also bring tears to your heart. As Joe says in this book, Will you be disappointed with how you have lived your life and will you be satisfied with what you have done for yourself, and your family and your neighbors, and yes most important of all, will you be satisfied with what you have given of yourself to bring glory to our Lord and Savior.
