New Book Takes Eye-Opening Look at How We Live Our Lives
Author warns against the dangers of living a life based on compulsion

LONGWOOD, FL—In new release Living and Dying Without Regret: Will God Say Well Done if You Haven’t Done Well? ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-680-5) author Joe Prainito takes an eye-opening look at the way we live our lives and how this determines the end of our lives. Says the author, “I’ve found that people regret two things at the end of their lives: the things they have done and the things they haven’t done. My prayer is this book will both open readers’ eyes to the way they live and, if found appropriate, provoke change.” Contained within the pages of this book are stories of real people at the end of their lives, and their stories of remorse and shame over the way they’ve lived as well as God’s wisdom on how we can truly live and die without regret.

Says Prainito, “This book reminds us that a life lived in selfish ambitions, and self-gratifying compulsion will ultimately lead us down a path of destruction to a destination of regret. The world needs to know this, and this book will allow them to accompany me where otherwise they wouldn’t be welcome, invited, or allowed; into the room’s, minds, and hearts of the dying to hear their final words of regret, and remorse over the way they’ve lived their life.”

With a background in public ministry, Prainito has worked in many capacities, including as a hospice pastor, bereavement coordinator, public speaker, and grief counselor. All of these experiences prepared him to help others deal with challenges to their relational, emotional, physical, and spiritual lives. He hopes his book will help change lives “so that when one day I or another pastor meets them on their death bed, we can talk about good times past, the promise of heaven ahead, and no regrets to speak of,” he says.
